Welcome to Read & Flourish:

A Therapeutic Book Club!

Have you read a really impactful or influential book and wished you had a space to discuss it in further detail or share how the concepts relate to your own lived experience?

When we start to dip our toes into the world of anti-diet culture and healing, we often seek out books with topics specific to: challenging diet culture, exposing social justice issues intertwined within our health care system, rebuilding of body trust, and/or sharing a personal experiences of overcoming hardship.

Given the complexity of these topics, it is often extremely therapeutic to reflect on your experience as you read. We are now offering that space! A space for you to share your thoughts and feelings about the reading, and an opportunity to witness others’ perception of the reading as they share their own lived experiences.

We are thrilled to be offering this service!!

What Previous Members are saying

Read & Flourish was a great way to connect with a likeminded, though diverse, community and remind each of us that we are not alone in our daily struggle against diet culture.

This book club was amazing! I really enjoyed connecting with others as interested in HAES and intuitive eating as I am. I felt like the conversation flowed with the members and that we talked about some great topics each week. I felt empowered to share my story and support others while they shared theirs! I definitely recommend and am looking forward to the next one!
